Think Different Strain Review

Think different is a potent auto-flowering hybrid strain that produces an energetic and uplifting high that will boost your mood and make you more productive throughout the day.

Think Different Strain Review

Think different is a little… different from other strains, so we’ll be giving you an in-depth look into this strain, how it was developed, and also the additional effects of using it.

Potency

Think Different is a highly potent strain that is effectively used for recreational and medicinal purposes due to its high THC content.

What Is Think Different Strain?

How Was Think Different Developed?

Think different was developed by the team at Dutch Passion with a focus on making this auto-fem strain produce heavy yields.

They crossed AK420 (a cross between AK47 and an unknown strain) with ruderalis which produced this think different strain that has 60% sativa, 20% indica, and 20% ruderalis.

The strain was created to make you ‘think different’ as it’ll give you a boost of productivity and give you bursts of creativity and unique ideas that you maybe wouldn’t think of normally.

Taste

Think different is known for not being one of the best-tasting strains so is not enjoyed for its taste but rather its effects.

Upon the first inhale, you may get some more pleasant sweet and floral tasting notes with elements of citrus but once it develops in your mouth you’ll notice it becomes more earthy and sour. It’ll leave a spicy citrus taste on your tongue once you’ve exhaled which will linger.

It won’t appeal to everyone, but luckily you’ll only need one blunt (if that) to feel the full effects of this strain and you’ll be feeling completely energized so you won’t have to endure the taste for too long.

Odor & Flavor

Think different is very pungent, so there’ll be no secretly hiding this in your room away from prying housemates. It has a strong skunky profile with the herbal and citrus elements but smelling the bud up close you’ll notice some more well-rounded earthy and sweeter odors.

When smoked, think different can almost be comparable to a haze variety, which if you’re into that, then you’ll enjoy the aromas of this.

Physical Appearance

Think different produces some dense compact buds that normally have a light to rich green appearance that has a light coating of trichomes that makes it look dusty.

It’s not common to see large orange hairs throughout the bud and you may also see more brown-tinged leaves depending on when the flowers are harvested.

Grow Info

Think different will grow to around 100-150 centimeters in height, the buds and flowers can become quite bushy and heavy, so some string support is recommended to make sure they don’t break.

They grow at their best in a sunny and dry climate, so growing indoors may be more recommended as you could control the climate more.

When think different is grows indoors it could take around 9 weeks to finish flowering and you could experience an average yield of about 17 ounces per square meter.

When grown outdoors, you’ll see a greater average yield of around 19 ounces per square meter and it should be ready to harvest in the middle of October.

Think different is easy to look after as it’s resistant to pests and diseases so you’ll be able to let it do its thing without too much maintenance whilst being able to reap the rewards.

Effects

This strain has an uplifting effect that you’ll be able to notice within the first 2 puffs and will last throughout the day even when you think the main effects have started to wear off.

It makes users feel more energetic and great to smoke if you feel like you’re lacking in motivation that day and need something to get you going so you can excel at your tasks.

It’ll allow you to focus more on your work for longer periods, so if you’re got something you’ve been putting off doing then a little bit of think different and you’ll be good to go.

The euphoric feeling it gives you is great if you’re socializing with friends and also a good way to try at a party to get everyone vibing.

Think different is used by many artists, musicians, and creators to give them a spur of motivation and to help them become their most productive selves so they can create their best work.

However, when over-consumed, think different can have a powerful relaxation effect on the body and the mind, so you’ll want to be careful about how much you’re using before it has the opposite effect of what you want it to do.

Side Effects

Expect some cotton-mouth and dry itchy eyes when having a smoking session with this stuff, but if you’re a seasoned pot user, you’ll know the score.

It’s probably best to have some water nearby to rehydrate after smoking a zoot of the good stuff. If you haven’t drunk enough water before trying this strain then you may find yourself feeling a bit dizzy and getting a light headache when the buzz starts to kick in.

This is a surprisingly strong strain and should be used carefully as incorrect dosage could lead to a paranoid trip even if you think you’re in a comfortable and safe environment.

Medical Appointments

Think different is described as a treatment for eye pressure and glaucoma as it can relieve inflammation and also lessen the pain.

Anxious and stressed users may find themselves being able to think more clearly and rationally after trying a bit of think different, although larger doses may cause an opposite effect.

People who struggle with depression and find it hard to motivate themselves may reap the benefits of the energizing and uplifting effects of think different.

Similar Strains

For a similar effect if you can’t get your hands on think different, why don’t you try Maui waui, purple haze, or Colombian gold.

Strain Cannabinoids

This strain has a THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) content of 15-20%, so you won’t need much to feel the effects of it, so inexperienced smokers should take care. The high THC content is what makes this so well suited for anti-inflammatory purposes.

It has a relatively low CBD (cannabidiol) content at just 1%, but it is still taken for medicinal purposes. It will still have minor relief for anxiety but is also a good sleeping aid.
