Plush Berry Strain Review

Potency

Perhaps not ideal for beginners or those with a particularly low cannabis tolerance, Plushberry weed has around a 25% THC level, which may be too strong for some people.

However, with a 50/50 split between Indica and Sativa, even though this strain is strong, Plushberry was designed to offer a balanced and enjoyable high that shouldn’t cause you to feel like your limbs and body are very heavy or experience couch-lock.

It’s also worth noting that certain batches of Plushberry may lean more towards Indica or Sativa, however, Plushberry was created in order to offer the user a balanced high that can be used for both recreational and medicinal purposes.

Nevertheless, due to the high levels of THC, we do recommend starting off slow to help your body get used to it.

What Is Plushberry Strain?

Plushberry strain is a type of hybrid cannabis that is a cross between popular strains Black Cherry Soda and Space Queen. It was created and released by TGA Subcool and was specifically created to be a well-balanced hybrid.

For this reason, Plushberry was designed to offer users a strong high that wouldn’t be Sativa or Indica leaning, and in turn, wouldn’t feel too overwhelming.

Rather, Plushberry is a cannabis strain that incorporates all of the best parts of a Sativa and Indica high, so it’s a great choice for intermediate to experienced cannabis users.

Plus, due to the fact that the Plushberry bud is pink-hued and features a berry fragrance, Plushberrry was initially named “Pink Lady” but was soon renamed Plushberry, which we think is way more catchy.

The decision to incorporate Black Cherry Soda into the creation of Plushberry was purposely done in order to give it distinct Sativa traits, however – that wasn’t the only thing Black Cherry Soda offered, because its inclusion is also what gives Plusberry its fruity, berry aroma that so many people love.

As for the Indica aspect of Plushberry, TGA Subcool wanted to ensure that users would also be able to experience a mildly sedative effect alongside the euphoria of Sativa, which means that users will be able to enjoy an easy, relaxing experience that won’t freeze them.

How Was Plushberry Developed?

Plushberry was initially developed by a company called TGA Subcool Seeds and was the first hybrid mix that incorporated Kush genetics by TGA Subcool Seeds.

For this reason, it is a blend of Black Cherry Soda and Space Queen, and contains THC levels that fall to around 20%.

Taste

Plushberry tastes a lot like candy, and many users remark on the fruity, berry flavor that has delicious hints of citrus, pine, and skunk. Whether you’re new to the world of cannabis or not, the flavor is sure to be a hit!

Odor And Flavor

If you’re planning on trying out Plushberry for the first time, then one of the first things that you’re likely going to notice is the strong, fruity aroma that is reminiscent of berries!

It doesn’t end there either, as many people who use this strain of cannabis also often find that this berry aroma carries through to the actual taste, so you can expect to enjoy a sweet, candy flavor with hints of delicious berry.

Physical Appearance

Plushberry can vary depending on the phenotype, but more often than not it is characterized by a dense bud that is adorned with pink, yellow and purple pistils that give Plushberry a tinted pink hue.

Grow Info

Offering plenty of versatility, Plushberry can be grown both indoors and outdoors and has a flowering period of between 8 to 9 weeks. Even though it can be grown using a hydroponic system, many people find that Plushberry cultivates more effectively when planted in soil.

Unfortunately, Plushberry can be quite tricky to grow and often produces quite a small yield, which can be off-putting for some.

Nevertheless, when growing in the correct conditions, Plushberry will yield within 55 to 65 days and will require minimal maintenance, including regular trimming.

Effects

After taking a hit of Plushberry, you’ll notice an instant uplift in your mood and potentially feelings of soaring euphoria, depending on your tolerance level of cannabis.

Initially, you can expect to feel the effects of the Sativa present within this strain, and may even find yourself feeling more alert and sociable because of it.

However, sooner or later, you will begin to feel the effects of the Indica starting to set in, and will likely experience a cerebral high that will make you want to settle down in your favorite spot on the sofa and relax.

For this reason, Plushberry might not be the best choice for those who are looking for a “Wake and Bake” cannabis strain.

Side Effects

Just like with other types of Cannabis strains, Plushberry does pose the potential risk of a variety of side effects, including cottonmouth, itchy, red eyes, munchies, paranoia and more.

Medical Appointments

Thanks to the high levels of THC within this strain, it means that Plushberry offers a wide variety of medicinal benefits.

For starters, many people can benefit from its sedative and relaxing effects, which will increase the sleep quality of those who suffer from insomnia and other sleep disorders.

Plus, thanks to the bodily high induced by the Indica, Plushberry can also be used to help alleviate any muscle aches and pains, as well as relieve the tension and pain associated with headaches.

Plushberry also has the tendency to bring on munchies after it has been smoked, which means that this potent strain can be taken in small doses to help increase appetite and encourage users to want to eat food.

For this reason, many people who suffer from eating disorders can try this cannabis strain as a way to help encourage their daily food intake in a comfortable and relaxing way.
