WIRE: Cannassentials passes new Oregon LCC testing standards

Eugene, OregonCannassentials, an award-winning closed loop ‘beyond organic’ farm near Eugene welcomes the new OLCC testing standards. Where other farms are struggling to pass these tests, Cannassentials is passing with flying colors.

“The new Oregon testing regulations have caused some restrictions on the variety we have on our shelves (has cut some of the oils and extracts we used to carry),” says Joe Russo of Maritime Café in Portland, Oregon. “But with Cannaessentials we’ve never been concerned because there is no question about the science behind their grow. Cannassentials’ method doesn’t leave any room for error. We know we can always rely on them to stock the shelves with a consistent, steady supply of product.”

In addition to Maritime Café, Cannassentials is also regularly stocked at Farma PDX and Cannadaddy’s in Portland, and in Eugene at Amazon Organics.
Cannassentials Master Grower Shane Budd explains “at Cannassentials we are very happy that the OLCC and the State of Oregon have decided to standardize and improve the stringency of the product testing in our state. Since cannabis is primarily a smoked product, the effects of inhaled pesticides on the health of our citizens should be considered paramount. Because of this, we did not mind the extended wait times that were caused by the lab shortage.

Although our cash flow was tightened, and our product was delayed on some retail shelves, we had no concerns that our flower would pass. We have never, and will never, use any sort of pesticide on our product. We grow using living soil and time tested, ultra-organic practices that result in a premium product that our customers can enjoy knowing it is as clean as possible. Now that the labs are catching up, we are so happy to have the shelves of our retailers filled with multiple varieties of our award winning cannabis. All of which has passed the tightest testing standards in the country. That’s right, we have 100% pass rate.”

In addition to passing tests with flying colors retailers Cannassentials has also taken home the following awards in recent months:
