WIRE: Oregon LCC closes Portland and Bend offices today due to weather issues

PORTLAND, Ore. – Due to inclement weather, the Oregon Liquor Control Commission offices in Portland and Bend are closed Dec. 15.  The Commission meeting scheduled for Dec. 15 & 16 in Portland is canceled.  All items on the agenda will be rescheduled for a later date.

The Salem, Eugene, Corvallis, and Newport offices will open at noon on Thursday, December 15, 2016.

The OLCC distilled spirits distribution center in Milwaukie will remain open with very limited service to accommodate peak holiday shipping schedules. We will continue to monitor the weather for safety conditions that may impact deliveries and will notify transportation companies and liquor stores of any changes.

“The safety of employees and drivers is paramount,” says Steve Marks, OLCC Executive Director. “Our OLCC warehouse staff will continue to operate as weather permits. With the holidays upon us, we will do our best to accommodate transportation companies and liquor store operators with very little interruption of service.”

Updates will be posted on the agency’s website:
