LAKE WORTH, FL and LAKEWOOD, CO – The National Cannabis Chamber of Commerce and Lakewood, Colo.-based Strainwise Consulting have collaborated to create a series of conferences that will introduce aspiring participants to the cannabis industry.
With the legalization of medical marijuana up for approval by voters in November, business people are hurrying to prepare themselves to meet the demand that is sure to follow. These sessions, called “Ask the Cannabis Experts,” are designed to allow potential entrepreneurs to share in the knowledge that others across the nation have already gained in the cannabis industry, including:
- Application processing
- Opportunity assessment
- Seed-to-sale traceability
- Dispensary, cultivation and manufacturing/processing
- Record keeping and cash management
- And more
“The cannabis industry is already dominated by no-nonsense professionals, and the only way to compete is to engage in the kind of training and education that these conferences provide,” said Erin Phillips, president and CEO of Strainwise.
The first of the series’ three, all-day sessions will be held in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Sept. 10 at The Westin; and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, at $295 per registration. The following two sessions, with essentially identical agendas, will be held at the Holiday Inn-Miami Beach Oceanfront Sept. 11; and at the Ramada Tampa Airport Westshore Oct. 1.
