The Friday Five: Weekend weed music selections from Collie Tunes, July 8, 2016

Welcome to The Friday Five – a new weekly weed and music column from Collie Tunes, a Portland company focused on tunes for the cannabis industry.
This column will run every Friday – so stay tuned for more selections next week, and enjoy!
Selections and comments below by Sean Hocking, owner of Collie Tunes:
1 The Bennies – Legalise (Don’t Tax)
Great new ska tune from this Australian band glorifying smoking the bowl (Explicit Language)
2 Dire Straits – Telegraph Road
A little corny but it works. Toke, sit back and disappear down telegraph road.
3 Carlton Livingston – 100 Weight of Collie Weed
What would a weed chart be without a Jamaican visit. Sounds like he’s in the export business!
4 Happy Mondays – Kinky Afro
There is no better band for lazy stoned vibes..Lazyitis is what they used to call it in Manchester back in the late 80’s
5 The Velvet Underground – Beginning To See The Light
This one is dedicated to the DEA who might well just be coming out of the paranoid world of J Edgar. Who knows…. Cannabis may be Schedule II by year’s end
