Strawberry Lemonade Cannabis Quencher from Evergreen Herbal (Washington)

Reviewer: Sue Vorenberg
Strain: Strawberry Lemonade Cannabis Quencher
Grower: Evergreen Herbal (Washington)(Available at High-5 Cannabis, The Herbery and retailers throughout Washington)
Onset time: Some mild effects about a half-hour after drinking one shot-glass sized serving. Builds to full strength about an hour in.
Fade: About three hours and 45 minutes.
Strength: 10 mg THC, 10 mg CBD per serving (3 serving bottle) – one dose is a good daytime level for me – functional but relaxed. Inexperienced users may want to start with a half-dose first.
Tingling (where did you feel it): Lips, temples, shoulders, tongue (weird). Builds to a good relaxed body buzz after an hour or two.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): A little hazy but still fine and functional. Control is decent.
Emotions: Happy, curious, creative, relaxed.
Paranoia: No
Energy level: Moderate, but there’s a little CBD sleepiness to it.
Taste: A bit weedy tasting. Strawberry lemonade but with a not-so-subtle bitter weed aftertaste.
Relieves: Shoulder pain, body aches, stress, grumpy mood.
Positives: I like that there’s enough in one bottle to stagger a day-long high (if you take another shot every 4 hours or so) – or to share with a couple friends. Nice relaxing body buzz for a chill hike or bike ride – or for a little grilling after you get out and get some exercise.
Negatives: Bitter aftertaste.
Other notes: The pop cap on this means the soda will probably de-fizz if you don’t use the full bottle within a day or two of opening it (I shoved it back on after using one dose, but it’s not all that air-tight). I like that you can use the shot glass to dial your dosage up or down. That said, I’m also partial to the drinks from Fairwinds and Mirth – both because they taste better and because you can enjoy an entire drink and not just a shot. Still, the higher dosage and lower amount of liquid in the Quenchers make these things pretty easy to carry if you’re going camping.
