STONEHAM, Mass. — CannaKorp, Inc. announced today it is developing a groundbreaking vaporizer system that will revolutionize the experience for patients taking medical cannabis. “CannaKorp is going to upgrade the whole experience of using medical marijuana,” stated Michael Bourque, CannaKorp co-founder and president. “Our goal is to simplify and improve the medical marijuana experience for millions of users worldwide. Patients don’t always know exactly what they are buying and preparing cannabis is an archaic process today. Used together, our CannaCloud vaporizer and CannaCups solve this problem.”

Revealed at the 4th Annual Marijuana Business Expo in Las Vegas, the patent-pending CannaCloud™ system uses CannaCup™ pods that contain pre-measured cannabis, environmentally sealed and available in dozens of varieties.

According to Dave Manly, CannaKorp CEO and former senior vice president of Keurig, “The CannaCloud system reminds me a lot of the early days at Keurig—it offers a similar consumer proposition of speed and convenience and consumers exposed to the CannaCloud really love it.”

The company does not grow or distribute cannabis, but rather partners with authorized growers and processors. These partners are aligned with CannaKorp’s high standards for growing, testing, and filling pods with medicinal-use cannabis. The CannaCloud system is planned for release in fall 2016

About The CannaCloud

  1. Insert your favorite CannaCup strain into the travel mug-like canister
  2. Place the canister into the CannaCloud and press the button on the display
  3. In less than a minute, the vessel fills with vapor

This system eliminates smoke, vaporizer filter cleaning and a collection of tools usually associated with cannabis use.

About The CannaCup

  • CannaCups are pre-measured, single-use, environmentally sealed pods that work with the CannaCloud system and are sold where cannabis is legal.
  • CannaCups contain only the highest-quality cannabis that has been tested in compliance with CannaKorp’s standards.

CannaCup pods are professionally labeled to include strain and concentration as well as the name of the licensed cultivation facility.

About The CannaMatic

  • CannaMatic delivers a new level of labor-saving automation to the cannabis industry
  • The CannaMatic is an automated machine for authorized processors to fill, seal and label CannaCups.
  • CannaMatic will reduce packaging costs, provide proper consumer labeling and bring new branding opportunities to cultivators and retailers
