Strain Sheet: Northern Lights from Dank Colorado

Northern Lights from Dank Colorado

Reviewer: Syndicate
Strain (name, sativa, indica, and any interesting info about it): Northern Lights (Indica – descended from Afghani landrace strains)
Grower: Dank Colorado
Onset time (When did you ingest/when did it kick in): The first hit had an immediate buzz, but it also had some creeper qualities as it built.
Fade (When do you no longer feel it): It had a good long high that lasted 45-60 min.
Strength: I found it good without being overpowering. Too much will have you napping. I like my indica at night to relax and sleep on, or just being a lounge lizard on the weekend.
Tingling (where on your body did you feel it): I felt it in the forehead and along the top of my head. Maybe a little warm cheek feeling.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc.): No problems with control, Northern Lights has a nice calming and focusing effect.
Emotions: I feel good, relaxed and on the up side. A little sleepy and couchy.
Paranoia: No.
Energy level: It has a little up-lift in the beginning, but I felt good and planted on the couch after 10-15 minutes.
Look: A colorful green with hints of gold, and orange brown hairs. The crystals looked good and white, and were fairly numerus.
Smell: Mildly pungent, slightly sweet and a little flowery/fruity smell, and just a hint of an earthy undertone.
Taste: In the pipe it was smooth, a little sweet and a little earthy. In the vape it was sweeter, with a hint of pine.
Relieves: This one should relieve stress and depression. As it sets in I’m feeling a little sleepy, so it should be good for insomnia. Relief from pain and muscle cramps is good.
Positives: This classic strain has a nice early lift, and then puts you in the mood to relax and Netflix it.
Negatives: A little couchy, and some sleepiness. Maybe some dry-eye and cotton mouth.
