Cannabis Daily Record
That magical time of year is upon us again, and no, I don’t mean Easter.
April 20 – 420 to the stoner set – is the biggest cannabis holiday of the year. And while Vancouver, Washington doesn’t have any big festivals to celebrate, much to my disappointment, it does have a host of good shopping deals to pay attention to.
Several weed stores have sales flyers out already, and others are waiting with last-minute deals. I’m going to go over some highlights of the offerings I’ve seen so far, and if more come in later, I will ad them.
Here’s what I’ve seen so far:
You can find The Herbery’s full 420 deals list here.
As a flower person, there are two deals at The Herbery that I’ll be lining up for – from two of my favorite local growers, Cedar Creek and Sunshine Farms.
Cedar Creek will have 3.5 gram bags of OG Kush, Jack Herer and Blue Dream for $20 each, with a four bag limit. Usually, their BB bud packs cost that much, so the chance to get their big beautiful buds for the same price is just too good to pass up.
Sunshine Farms will have four gram jars of Rare Darkness, Chemdawg and Dutch Treat for $20 each, with no limit. Usually Sunshine Farms 3.5 gram jars are $25 at the shop, so this is another great way to save a few bucks. They also have a special deal on Rude Boi OG, with 3.5 grams of flower plus two 0.5g prerolls for $25.
The Herbery also has sales on Going Green, Fairwinds and Bacons Buds, all local growers, along with the usual array of statewide growers.
High Five Cannabis
You can find High Five Cannabis’ full 420 deals list here.
Again looking at flower, there are some great deals on high quality product at High Five this 420.
Topping my list, 3.5 gram bags of Blue Magoo from Heavenly Buds is $23. I haven’t had it in a few years, but Cindarella’s Dream from Smokey Point Productions also looks like a steal at $15 for 3.5 grams.
Doghouse, another local grower, has its Tangiland, Headband #5 and Bruce Banner #3 on sale for $9 for 1g, $32 for 3.5g, $58 for 7g and $115 for 14g. Doghouse is another favorite local grower with kickass flower, so I’ll be looking hard at this deal. They also have Doghouse’s Dogwalker Wax for $20 a gram, which I also hope to pick up – because Doghouse is just that good.
High End Market Place
You can find High End Market Place’s full 420 deals list here.
First off, High End Market Place has a 30 percent off sale on Doghouse flower, and you know I will be stocking up on that big time.
Heavenly Buds, another top-tier grower, will also have 20-40 percent off select joint packs and flower. There will also be a special release of the Labyrinth strain – which will be $15 for 3.5 grams. They’re one of my favorite top tier growers that isn’t in Vancouver. Always high quality with a good punch.
Blue Roots, another high quality non-local grower, will also have 20-40 percent off concentrates and flower.
High End also plans to have a house party with product drops throughout the day, and I imagine this shop, along with High 5, will have the best chance and drawing a gathering of stoners to hang out throughout the day – should you be looking for fellow weed enthusiasts to enjoy the festivities with.
I haven’t seen a 420 deals list for them yet, but I’m going to keep an eye on the Greenhead Cannabis website to see if some appear. The store can be a bit pricey at times, so this could be a good chance to pick up some of their really nice top tier flower at a discount. But we’ll see what happens.
I admit I haven’t shopped at New Vansterdam in ages, but they do have a 420 flyer on their homepage. There’s what looks like a $30 ounce of Deathstar on sale that day, but I’m not sure who the grower is. They also have 50 percent off Kush Family Wax and Wild Flower product.
I will not be listing deals from Main Street Marijuana, because of their predatory business practices, but you can look them up through the link if you like.
Am I missing anything?
Please feel free to email me at email@example.com if I missed a deal or a store and you’d like to share the information.
