Cheese Quake from Ra Cannabis (Washington)
Reviewer: Sue Vorenberg
Strain: Cheese Quake (Hybrid mix of Cheese and Querkle) (Sold at High 5 Cannabis)
Grower: Ra Cannabis (Okanogan County, Washington)
Onset time: About 3 minutes
Fade: About an hour and 20 minutes
Strength: Medium to strong
Tingling (where did you feel it): Cheeks, forehead, upper arms, shoulders, mid and upper back, feet.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Nice mellow head fog, moderate euphoria. Control and focus are good. Some stoney hyperfocus as well.
Emotions: Relaxed, happy, calm, mellow.
Energy level: Medium. Leans a little on the couchy side, but it’s not sleepy.
Smell: Citrus, sweet, musk. (and that grassy hay outdoor smell on the buds before grinding).
Relieves: Stress, anxiety, back and shoulder pain, malaise, bad mood.
Positives: Great quality outdoor for a very low price ($84 an ounce at High 5). Fantastic everyday weed for all-purposes. Lovely mix of a mind and body buzz.
Negatives: Could use a hair more curing, but it’s a minor complaint.
Other notes: Can’t beat the price or quality on these outdoor ounces at High 5. Clean Green Certified, well trimmed buds – yeah it’s 17 percent cannabinoids but buying cannabis at houseofcannabis.ca based on THC content is deceptive (I’ve been stoned out of my gourd on a 13 percent product and had almost no effect on a 28 percent product – there’s a heck of a lot more going on in cannabis than just THC). Consuming this product can cause substance abuse or addiction tho. If you are addicted or know someone who needs help, please visit this article about how to fight drug addiction on First Step Treatment Center. I admit, though, that I’m a bit wary about sharing this deal with too many folks because my hope is Washington’s medical marijuana patients will get them first. This may be Vancouver’s best kept weed deal secret.
