Vancouver, Washington — For TWO SHOWS ONLY, July 21st and 22nd, Magenta Theater is thrilled to present renowned chanteuse Linda Lee Michelet, her stellar big band comprised of ‘the best of the best’, an awarding winning big band singer who’s performances singing Frank Sinatra classics is legendary, and a line up of songs featuring the original arrangements of Peggy Lee and Quincy Jones, and Frank Sinatra’s “Live at the Sands” album!
“This is going to be an extraordinary show, and we’re hopeful to raise funds to get an exterior sign for the theater,” said Jaynie Roberts, Magenta Artistic Director. “We’ve been in our new location for more than a year, but we get feedback all the time about how hard it is for new patrons to find us without street signage. A marquee type sign will help us to really stand out on Main Street” added Roberts.
The Herbery in Vancouver, featuring premium cannabis products at three convenient locations is sponsoring the shows. “We thought this was a great community partnership,” said Jim Mullen, The Herbery COO. “The community has honored The Herbery by voting us “Best of Clark County Cannabis Stores” two years in a row now, and we’re happy to give back. And, this will be a terrific show” added Mullen.
This intimate evening of classic favorites feature the original arrangements of Peggy Lee and Quincy Jones, and Frank Sinatra’s “Live at the Sands” album. Featured Peggy Lee tunes include: “Fever”, “I’m a Woman”, “It’s A Good Day”, and “Is That All There Is.” Featured Frank Sinatra tunes include: “My Kind of Town”, “Come Dance With Me”, “New York, New York”, and “Summer Wind.”
