Adak from Nettles Unlimited (Washington)
Strain: Adak (Sativa-dominant hybrid cross of ATF and AK47)(Sold at The Herbery)
Grower: Nettles Unlimited (Sold at The Herbery)
Onset time: About four minutes
Fade: About an hour and 10 minutes
Tingling (where did you feel it): Cheeks, forehead, shoulders, boobs.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Good euphoric hyperfocus. I can concentrate just fine. There’s a slight haze and an in-the-moment quality to the head high as well.
Emotions: Happy, upbeat, curious, creative.
Energy level: Medium – up for just about anything, but I’m not hyper.
Smell: Floral, musk, some zingy pine in the smoke.
Relieves: Lethargy, fatigue, stress, shoulder pain, not bad on PTSD for a sativa.
Positives: Happy mood-adjusting daytime high with great focus and good energy. Perfect for a hike, bike ride, barbecue or getting a little work done.
Other notes: So many Herbery budtenders love this strain – I’m surprised I hadn’t tried it until now. Great sativa for people with anxiety and PTSD – it’s not overly jittery and doesn’t make you paranoid, but it does have good energy.
