Eugene, OR — This May the Cannassentials team (Shane, Will and Myron) were presented with two awards at Cultivation Classic, the world’s only cannabis competition and event exclusively for pesticide-free product grown in Oregon.
In the THC Greenhouse category the team won with Guava Chem and took Second Place with Bubblegum.
“We are so proud to have been selected the winners in the Greenhouse category at the Cultivation Classic,” enthuses Cannassentials CFO Myron Chadowitz.
He goes on to explain “this contest restricts entry to those farms that grow in soil and do not use synthetic fertilizer or pesticides, highlighting the organic methods we too champion. It was a real honor to compete against some of the best farms in the state, that are pushing the envelope in organic and sustainable processes. Hopefully we are all able to show the public that incredible weed can be grown in a responsible fashion!”
Master Grower Shane Budd adds “One of the best parts of this event was the chance to connect with an amazing variety of like-minded individuals who are out there growing fantastic flower in the most earth friendly way. It is a real pleasure to be a part of this community and to share ideas from which we all can benefit.”
Cultivation Classic is produced by Willamette Week with Farma, Cascadia Labs, Phylos Bioscience and Resource Innovation Institute. The Cultivation Classic website states “this event is a gathering of community as we pursue the best cannabis flowers, producers and methods in Oregon…this year features an unprecedented level of scientific collaboration on the back end, including groundbreaking carbon accounting for our competing producers.”
