Courtside Jack from Golden Leaf (Washington)
Strain: Courtside Jack (Hybrid cross of L.A. Scouts and Jack Herer)(Sold at The Herbery)
Grower: Golden Leaf (Benton City, Washington)(Not to be confused with Golden Leaf Holdings, which operates in several states)
Onset time: About four minutes
Fade: About an hour and 25 minutes
Strength: Medium to strong
Tingling (where did you feel it): Lips, ears, shoulders, upper back.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Bit hazy with good hyperfocus. Control is moderate.
Emotions: Happy, curious, creative, silly.
Energy level: Medium. Decent juice for getting things done around the house – or watching some playoff hockey and basketball!
Smell: Floral, pine, slight skunk.
Relieves: Fatigue, lethargy, stress, stiffness.
Positives: Feels like a sativa-leaning hybrid. I can feel the Jack Herer qualities – it’s got that spacey hyperfocus that makes house cleaning more interesting. Good energy, too.
Other notes: Nice dense, hand-trimmed buds. First hit is really terpy with great pine flavor. These guys are probably the best outdoor grower I’ve tried in Washington’s I-502 market.
