Strain Sheet: P-51 RSO from Rootworx (Washington)

P-51 RSO from Rootworx (Washington)

Reviewer: SueVo
Strain: P-51 RSO (Rick Simpson Oil/FECO)(indica hybrid cross of Tahoe OG and Blackberry – a Rootworks signature strain)(Purchased at High-5 Cannabis)
Grower: Rootworx (Washington)
Onset time: About an hour and 45 minutes. (Edibles can take up to 2.5 hours to kick in. Also – with RSO, start small – with a dose of about half a rice grain, and then work up to larger doses if that’s not enough. I generally take a dose that’s slightly bigger than a rice grain, but I have a tolerance.)
Fade: About four and a half hours
Strength: Medium to strong
Tingling (where did you feel it): Forehead, cheeks, shoulders, mid back, thighs, feet.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Euphoric, slightly spacey but mostly a clear headed high. Control and focus are moderate to OK.
Emotions: Calm, relaxed, peaceful.
Paranoia: No
Energy level: Low to medium. I’m a little sick and it’s making me sleepy, but the high isn’t particularly low energy.
Taste: The freezer pill stuck a little in my throat. Flavor was OK – not particularly pleasant but not horrid. It was a bit terpy, which is cool.
Relieves: Shoulder pain, stress, anxiety, backache.
Positives: Good relaxing high for hanging out and watching TV, pain relief and to get you some rest when you’re sick. Helped a lot with body aches.
Negatives: None.
Other notes: RSO/FECO is actually one of the most high potent, least expensive edibles you can get on the Washington market. You can eat this straight up, but it tastes kind of nasty (any FECO or RSO does). I like to make freezer pills out of it – which are easier to swallow. To make freezer pills, put some normal baking flour into the cube areas of an ice cube tray, filling it about 1/3rd of the way. Make a little indent in the flour with your finger, and then with the syringe, drop a small amount (smaller than a rice grain) into each cube area. Then put the tray in the freezer for an hour or so. The freezing makes the oil easier to swallow (it doesn’t taste great if it’s too melty and gets on your tongue). When they’re ready, handle them minimally and pop them back like a pill with some water.
