WIRE: Los Angeles cannabis groups hold “Yes on M” election watch party tonight

LOS ANGELES — On Election Night, Southern California Coalition (SCC), the largest, most inclusive cannabis industry trade organization in ‘SoCal,’ will be joined by Los Angeles City Council President Herb Wesson and others for a “Yes on M” Election Night Watch and Victory Party at Bonaventure Brewery Coin Los Angeles.

Proposition M, spearheaded by Los Angeles City Council and SCC is a holistic approach to legalization that provides Los Angeles City Council with a comprehensive, yet fluid regulatory framework to address issues in real time while fairly licensing, taxing and regulating the city’s state-legal marijuana industry. The measure’s passing will also help determine the appropriate number of operators needed to meet Los Angeles’ needs in a responsible and sensible way.
