WHAT: The University of San Francisco (USF) Law Review will host a full-day symposium Friday, Jan. 27 titled “California’s Green Rush: The Business and Ethics of Cannabis.”
As California moves into a legal cannabis market, attorneys and others in the industry face complex legal questions. The symposium will focus on business formation, intellectual property issues, and the ethical obligations for attorneys practicing law in the cannabis industry. The keynote address will be delivered by attorney Robert Raich, who took both of the landmark cases on cannabis law to the Supreme Court and is a renowned expert on cannabis law.

WHERE: USF’s main campus at 2130 Fulton Street, inside Fromm Hall. Fromm Hall is located behind St. Ignatius Church along Parker Avenue.
