The multi-generational master gardeners at Humboldt’s Finest are positioned to become global leaders in craft cannabis production. They are advanced botanists, artisans and maverick growers dedicated to being the cannabis industry’s sustainable business model. With the exemplary use of rainwater harvesting, ecological pest management and natural fertilizers, Humboldt’s Finest operations are defined by environmental responsibility and regulatory compliance.
“As California moves toward legalization, it is a natural next step as farmers to brand our region as America’s Craft Cannabis,” said CEO Joseph Shepp. “We have been perfecting our trade and ability to comply since Prop 215. The opportunity to enter a legitimate, aboveground marketplace requires responsible practices. We look forward to raising the bar and setting the most sustainable standards for cannabis cultivation.”
To launch the brand, Humboldt’s Finest farms voluntarily met rigid PFC certifications, representing exemplary standards in safety, legal compliance, county permitting and water use.
“By educating customers on the premium value of craft cannabis, we will preserve the heritage family farms that have defined Humboldt County since the beginning,” explained Shepp. “Our vision is to produce the world’s finest cannabis, while protecting the environment and culture of Humboldt County.”
The Humboldt’s Finest brand will be officially launching at the cannabis industry’s foremost gathering, The Emerald Cup. The brand will feature its signature products with six-packs of pre-rolled joints and boxed 1/8s, representing the region’s finest sun grown flower. The Humboldt’s Finest booth will be located at the 215 Area Tent.
