Ginger Grass from Craft Elixirs (Washington)
Reviewer: Sue Vorenberg
Strain: Ginger Grass (Ginger lemongrass flavored simple syrup with 10 mg THC)(actual strain is Breakfast Kush – indica – nice that they list it on the bottle)
Grower: Craft Elixirs (Seattle, WA)(Sold at High-5 Cannabis and Mary Jane’s House of Grass)
Onset time: Took about 10 minutes to drink (mixed with some cranberry lime soda water), with onset about 20 minutes after I finished drinking it.
Fade: About four hours.
Strength: Medium (10 mg dose is generally low to medium on me – I’m usually a 20 mg edible gal)
Tingling (where did you feel it): Lips, cheeks, forehead, shins, back, spine, biceps.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Good. Nice clear-headed euphoria. Can focus, socialize. Relaxing and clear.
Emotions: Calm, happy, relaxed, focused.
Energy level: Medium. Decent juice to get things done but also relaxed and easy going.
Taste: Sweet and gingery. Slight weed flavor but the ginger covers most of it. Great zing with tonic water, although I may go with lemonade as a mixer next time.
Relieves: Stiff muscles and joints, stress, shoulder pain, good for shaking off morning stiffness.
Positives: Great morning drink for knocking out aches and pains – especially for us 40-somethings. Good for daytime and getting things done.
Other notes: My combo was one small 10 mg bottle mixed with one 12 oz tonic water. The mix was OK, but it tastes like it would be really good mixed with lemonade. I love these things as drink mixers. If you don’t drink alcohol (I don’t anymore), you can still have fun making your own cannabis cocktails at parties.
