LAS VEGAS, NV – StereoVision Entertainment Inc. (OTC PINK: SVSN) a publicly traded Nevada company announced today their equally owned Puerto Rico company GreenVision Systems LLC, whose purpose is acquiring licensing for the cultivation, manufacturing, and transportation of Medical Cannabis products in Puerto Rico has announced plans for a state of the art 40,000 square foot Medical Cannabis cultivation and Medical Cannabis manufacturing facility in Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico’s Governor Alejandro Garcia Padilla has certified a mechanism of “emergency” to allow the immediate implementation of the new Medical Cannabis Program. “The emergency was decreed on July 8, 2016 and is being certified and done because, to the extent that there are no rules, access to medical treatment to patients who use Cannabis as part of their treatment is delayed,” he said. The certification signed by Governor Padilla also highlights the usefulness of the program as a tool for economic development. “The new Medical Cannabis regulations encourage local investments, attracts foreign investments, and creates jobs in research, manufacturing and dispensing. It also boosts the agricultural sector, medical tourism, and is attracting a good amount of taxes,” says the document.
“StereoVision’s Chairman Eric Honour will spearhead the GreenVision Systems project in Puerto Rico,” said the Company. “Mr. Honour has held a California General Contractors license for over 23 years and is an award-winning builder whose clients include the Department of Defense, the FAA, and city and county governments throughout Southern California. Private sector clients include General Atomics and Boeing’s Human Spaceflight Division for the Space Shuttle and Delta rocket program. Mr. Honour has received numerous awards for historical restorations including the restoration of the San Diego City Hall built in 1850. The plan for the Puerto Rico Cannabis facility is to in the most expedient and economical way possible, design, manufacture and ship by barge a hurricane resistant pre-fab structure with rapid expandability factored in along with whatever materials are not readily available in Puerto Rico. Currently, just medical marijuana is legal in Puerto Rico. If recreational marijuana were to become legal there, GreenVision would be well positioned to become a major player in the legal cannabis industry.”
