Purple Arrow Preroll from Phat Panda
Reviewer: Sue Vorenberg
Strain: Purple Arrow (Hybrid of unknown origin)(Sold at The Herbery)
Grower: Phat Panda
Onset time: About four minutes to kick in
Fade: About an hour and 25 minutes
Strength: Medium to strong (despite the 14.9 percent THC in this one – it’s actually pretty strong. Classic case of the entourage effect and deceptive THC counts)
Tingling (where did you feel it): Upper back, lips, cheeks, crotch, feet, forehead.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): OK. It’s a little spacey but I can hold a conversation and focus through it.
Emotions: Happy, relaxed, peaceful
Energy level: Low to moderate. This stuff has an indica feel to it, but it’s not one that will make you sleepy.
Smell: Some musky scent, but it’s hard to tell with a preroll.
Relieves: Body aches, stress, may be a good one on a headache – it has a nice airy head feel.
Positives: Great all-over body buzz with a relaxing laid back head. Nice for evening Netflix binges!
Negatives: This is the second Panda joint in a row I tried with canoe issues (uneven burning).
Other notes: Yet another example of why you’re missing out if you buy weed based on THC content alone. One of the Herbery budtenders told me about this one being a nice solid buzz at 14.9 percent THC and he was right.
