Dutch Treat from Pioneer Farm
Strain: Dutch Treat (Hybrid favorite that originated in Amsterdam coffee houses)(Sold at The Herbery)
Grower: Pioneer Farm (Washington)
Onset time: About three minutes
Fade: About an hour and 15 minutes
Strength: Mild to medium (decent beginner strength – experienced users may want to go with something stronger like the Doc & Yeti Dutch Treat)
Tingling (where did you feel it): Mid-forehead, shoulders, boobs, chest, lower back, cheeks.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Mind is relaxed but I can focus OK. Not much of a deep thinker.
Emotions: Calm, relaxed, easy-going.
Energy level: On the mellow side but not sleepy.
Smell: Fruity, musky, citrus.
Relieves: Anxiety, muscle tension, cramps.
Positives: I love the Dutch strains like this and White Widow. Really calming, relaxing after-work buzz. Great de-stressing mind and body buzz. Fine for reading. Melts you into your comfy chair.
Negatives: Dry stemmy popcorn buds
Other notes: Very small popcorn buds, but for $26 an eighth (3.5 grams) I’m not really complaining. The material smokes and tastes fine, despite it not being pretty. It’s decent quality for low budget outdoor – you could even kick it up a notch by buying a half-gram of kief and tossing it in there. That said, I wouldn’t spend much more on something like this (but I’m a bit of a top shelf snob).
