IRVINE, CALIFORNIA — Cultivation Technologies, Inc. (“CTI”), a leader in cannabis infrastructure and branding, announced today an agreement with Regulatory Affairs Associates led by renowned FDA-expert Stephen Goldner.
Regulatory Affairs Associates will provide comprehensive guidance for the 4,000 square foot cannabis testing lab at CTI’s Coachella, California location. The lab is expected to serve the cultivation centers and manufacturing facilities on-site, as well as provide key testing services to local producers in Coachella and nearby Desert Hot Springs.
The agreement will provide Cultivation Technologies, Inc. with a detailed plan for the design, equipment, staffing, and standard operating procedures for the first cannabis testing lab in California constructed to FDA standards. Cultivation Technologies, Inc. will then align with an operating team and entity at the facility, which will obtain the regulatory permit from Coachella and eventual state license from California.
Cultivation Technologies, Inc. President Justin Beck stated “aligning with Regulatory Affairs Associates and Mr. Goldner is a vital step for our company. Our 6-acre campus in Coachella is expected to house a pharmaceutical company dedicated to cannabis. The critical path to accomplish that incorporates a testing lab built and operated to FDA standards.”
Stephen Goldner, CEO of Regulatory Affairs Associates, added “this initial engagement with Cultivation Technologies is a stepping stone toward our broader objectives with the company, which include the development and commercialization of cannabis compounds for FDA-approved therapeutic use for several conditions.”
