Strain Sheet: Hillbilly from Rootworx (Washington)

Hillbilly from RootWorx

Reviewer: Sue Vorenberg
Strain: Hillbilly (sativa dominant hybrid of Green Crack and Pre-98 Bubba Kush)(Purchased at High-5 Cannabis)
Grower: Rootworx (Washington)
Onset time: About two minutes
Fade: About an hour and 20 minutes
Strength: Strong
Tingling (where did you feel it): Lips, forehead, shoulders, cheeks, foot bottoms.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): OK. The euphoria is big with this one. Head’s relatively clear though. I can concentrate if I need to.
Emotions: Happy, energetic, playful.
Paranoia: No
Energy level: Great – good to go but not jittery.
Smell: Musky, slight fruit. Citrus-pineapple-grapefruit smell comes out on grinding.
Relieves: Lethargy – seems like a great workout strain. Also good on stress and anxiety. A very level-headed sativa.
Positives: Dig the glass jar packaging – the buds aren’t squished like they often get when they’re packaged in baggies. Also a very nice loose, flowy feel to the high.
Negatives: None.
Other notes: Smooth flavorful smoke (I really do love the aftertaste of smoking cannabis in a pipe – and this one is very smooth with a hint of fruity acidity). Trim’s a little loose but not unreasonably so. So odd when two strains that I’m not particularly fond of (Green Crack and Pre-88 Bubba) come together to make something like this that I really enjoyed. This is a great sativa for people who tend to lean toward hybrids, like I do. It doesn’t have the overkill paranoia that some other sativas get (I’m looking at you, Green Crack).
