OG Kush from Cedar Creek Cannabis
Reviewer: Sue Vorenberg
Strain: OG Kush (Mysterious West Coast hybrid that may be a cross of Chemdawg and Hindu Kush) (Sold at The Herbery and other Washington retail locations)
Grower: Cedar Creek Cannabis (Vancouver, Washington)
Onset time: About four minutes to kick in
Fade: About an hour and 20 minutes
Tingling (where did you feel it): Ears, lips, spine, back, shoulders, forearms, head sides, full face.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Not bad, but it’s not a deep thinker. Very soothing, relaxing strain.
Emotions: Peaceful, at ease, calm
Energy level: Moderate – not sleepy but otherwise it’s a bit on the couchy side.
Smell: Berry and a little musk
Relieves: Stress, anxiety, body aches, pain. It was a good back pain reliever for me.
Positives: Very soothing, comfortable mind/body balance. Perfect lazy weekend afternoon smoke.
Other notes: One of the few OG Kush’s I like. I generally find the strain sort of boring (it’s ubiquitous, as are kush strains in general), but I really like Cedar Creek’s version. It has a great overall mellow feel to it that seems like a plush wave of comfort washing over you. It loosens up the muscles and the smoke is so smooth and tasty I always want more.
