CBD Sweet & Sour Widow from Cedar Creek Cannabis
Reviewer: Sue Vorenberg
Strain: Sweet & Sour Widow (Indica cross of White Widow and an unknown sativa hybrid)(THC = 7.85%, CBD=8.62%)(Sold at The Herbery)
Grower: Cedar Creek Cannabis (Vancouver, Washington)
Onset time: About three minutes to kick in
Fade: About an hour
Strength: Mild and great for beginners.
Tingling (where did you feel it): Lightness and looseness in the shoulders, lips, chin, biceps, foot bottoms, ears, palms and eventually full face.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Great. Not much of a head buzz. Just a very mild euphoria.
Emotions: Reflective, calm, curious.
Energy level: Sort of on the laid back side of medium.
Smell: Musk, fruit, pine
Relieves: Shoulder tension, really nice warm, relaxing upper body pain relief.
Positives: Nice daytime strain for white collar stuff like typing and spread sheets. Good mental focus, yet relaxing.
Negatives: If you pick this up expecting to get wasted, you’ll be disappointed. That’s not what it’s for. If you’re looking for a good balanced THC/CBD strain that doesn’t kill your brain, though, I’d recommend giving this one a try.
Other notes: A friend recently told me that he loves CBD strains because he likes the flavor of smoking, but he doesn’t like a huge head high – so he can basically smoke CBD strains all day. I also like the taste of flower – and I think he’s on to something. Great, smooth, tasty stuff as usual from Cedar Creek.

Strain Name (Genetics, etc.): Sweet & Sour Widow, High CBD Preroll
Grower: Cedar Creek Cannabis – Washington
Onset time: Started to feel it kick in about 4 mins in
Fade: I smoked a whole joint and I felt its effects fade about 1.5 hours later, the come down was nice too instead of feeling tired I felt so clear and awake, like I slept had just had a nap.
Tingling (where did you feel it): Heady at first with an almost foggy vision, but that faded and my body felt nice. Lower back, hips, neck, shoulders.
Control: Good, felt clear headed
Emotions: Relaxed, unbothered and cozy
Energy Level: Low, didn’t make me want to fall asleep, but didn’t have me moving around much
Smell: Sweet and sour with an almost woody and earthy smell
Relieves: Pain and stress, fatigue, anxiety or neurosis
Positives: Great for tightly wound people without making them feel like they’re “high”
Negatives: Eyes felt very dry
Other notes (appearance, etc.): Good strain for winding down, one of the most relaxing strains I’ve smoked. It’s hard to explain why, but I think since this is high CBD it was more of a clear and clean high. Also like I mentioned when I came down I wasn’t tired and that’s a huge plus.
