10:1 Pure CBD Vape from Fairwinds Manufacturing
Reviewer: Sue Vorenberg
Strain: 10:1 Pure CBD Vape (Hybrid THC/CBD mix of God’s Gift and Omrita Rx)(The company also makes a 1:1 CBD/THC Vape which we reviewed HERE)(Sold at High End Market Place)
Grower: Fairwinds Manufacturing (Vancouver, Washington)
Onset time: About five minutes to kick in (took two hits)
Fade: About an hour and 15 minutes
Strength: Mild (not much of a head high but a very solid dose of CBD)
Tingling (where did you feel it): Cheeks, top of head, chest, upper arms, forearms. (CBD usually gives me more warmth than tingles, but I got a good amount of both types from this vape)
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Great. Only a very subtle head high
Emotions: Calm. Relaxed.
Energy level: Low to moderate, couchy.
Taste: Nice clean-tasting berry and pine. Very tasty!
Relieves: Cramps – great stuff for daytime – kills off the cramps without completely knocking you out. Also good for all-over body pain relief and stress reduction.
Positives: Calms, de-stresses and relieves pain. There’s a nice loose relaxed feel about it as well.
Negatives: Slightly sedative. If you take it in the daytime, you might want to grab a cup of coffee to go with it.
Other notes: I plan to keep this one handy next time pain interferes with work. Better than ibuprofen for me! Also, despite the low THC, I did get a mild euphoria with this. If your tolerance is low and you want to avoid a head high, go slow. Start with a small puff and take more if it doesn’t kick in after about 10 minutes. (The company also gave me a more detailed list of the cannabinoids in this one, which are: CBD, 1.4 percent; CBDA, 42 percent; CBC, 0.8 percent; CBG, 0.7 percent; and THCA, 4 percent). Cool to see the CBC (believed to inhibit inflammation and pain while stimulating bone growth) and CBG (which hasn’t yet been studied much but is believed to counteract paranoia and anxiety) numbers since they’re not usually listed on recreational cannabis.
