Strain: Cherry Pie (Hybrid cross of Granddaddy Purple and Durban Poison)(Sold at the Cannabis Country Store)
Grower: Noble Farms (Washington)
Onset time: About two minutes (took two bong hits)
Fade: About an hour and 15 minutes
Tingling (where did you feel it): Full forehead, eyes and cheeks – almost instantly. Ears, forearms, chin, foot bottoms and arches.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Clear headed but strong euphoria. Control is good but I definitely have a good solid head high going. Gets a little fuzzier about 15-20 minutes in.
Emotions: Curious, focused, calm, interested.
Energy level: Low to moderate. It’s on the couchy side and gets couchier (if that’s a word).
Smell: Sweet, pine and berry.
Relieves: Body aches, stress.
Positives: Perfect level of bud moisture – not too dry like many are. Nice sweetness to the smoke. Lots of power with this one as well, tread lightly. Also didn’t give me the munchies, which is great.
Negatives: Dry mouth.
Other notes: Wow – this has a “best by” date on it – great idea (harvested 11/18/15 and best by 12/03/16)! I’ve seen a few growers starting to do that and I find it’s very helpful. The Cannabis Country Store budtender told me this is one of the staff’s favorites. On another note, I’ve seen this one described as a “libido strain” that couples might enjoy. Also really nice one for looking at visual art.
