Jilly Bean from Urban Fields
Strain: Jilly Bean (Hybrid cross of Orange Velvet and Space Queen)(Sold at Ascend in Portland, Oregon)
Grower: Urban Fields (Portland, Oregon)
Onset time: About four minutes (2 hits)
Fade: About an hour
Tingling (where did you feel it): Strong in the mid forehead, chest, feet, toes, upper back, butt, jaw, above the ears and hands.
Control: Moderate. I can focus if I need to, but it’s pretty spacey stuff.
Emotions: Peaceful euphoria. Happy, alert, relaxed.
Energy level: Moderate. Mentally awake but physically mellow.
Smell: Very, very orange – with a dash of berry and musk tossed in.
Relieves: Shoulder aches, fatigue, stress.
Positives: Has a facial-rub sort of feel to it. Very pronounced tingles with a solid euphoric and spacey head high.
Negatives: Dry mouth.
Other notes: Beautiful trim and great overall quality. It gave me the hiccups – although that may also have been spurred by my lack of sleep (I used the matchbook trick to get rid of them – you light a book of matches, put it out in a glass of water and drink it. Kind of gross, but it works every time.) Moderately social strain despite the spacey quality – feels like a nice one for a trip to the movies or a concert. Not a real deep thinker, but great for taking a break from the world.
