Strain Sheet: Cowboy Cookies from Hempire

Cowboy Cookies from Hempire

Reviewer: SueVo
Strain: Cowboy Cookies (70-30 Indica-dominant hybrid – no parent information)(Sold at The Herbery)
Grower: Hempire (a.k.a. Kettle River Cannabis Co., Washington)
Onset time: About four minutes (2 hits)
Fade: About an hour and 15 minutes
Strength: Strong
Tingling (where did you feel it): Center forehead, my bad shoulder, biceps, lower back, nose tip, eyes.
Control: Good. Can function on this and get some menial tasks done.
Emotions: Happy, interested, mentally alert.
Paranoia: No
Energy level: Mellow. Not sleepy but I wouldn’t exactly call this a workout strain.
Smell: Pine and earth, like something a cowboy sleeping outdoors might smell
Relieves: Possibly good on a headache, also nice on my old shoulder injury.
Positives: Great body-focused buzz. Decent euphoria as well, but you can think through it.
Negatives: Dry mouth. Hempire’s packaging is awful – small non-resealable clear pack that you need scissors to open. I’m all for seeing the weed, but I think this packaging also lets a bit too much light in.
Other notes: Popcorn buds – would be nice to see something a bit meatier, although the quality was good. Smoke is relatively smooth. Pronounced around-the-eyes tingles.
