Strain Sheet: Honey Sticks from Cannabees

Honey Sticks from Cannabees

Reviewer: Sue Vorenberg
Product: Honey Sticks (comes in a 6-stick bag, 8.5 mg THC per stick)(Sold at High End Market Place)
Producer: Cannabees (Green Labs LLC) (Washington)
Onset time: I took two sticks, which should be about 17 mg of THC, and put them in my lemon ginger herbal tea. Took about an hour and a half to kick in (of note: Edibles don’t always work well on me – others might have a stronger reaction. I’d highly recommend just using one honey stick on your first try and seeing how it affects you).
Fade: About four hours
Strength: Medium
Tingling (where did you feel it): Nose, upper arms, mid back, feet bottoms, cheeks, full face. Some warmth to the tingles.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Easy enough. There’s some head haze but I get more more of a body high from this.
Emotions: Relaxed, calm, sleepy
Paranoia: No
Energy level: Low and a bit sleepy
Taste: Honey, a hint of berry and a slight weed taste that’s not unpleasant. Two sticks were perfect as a sweetener and added a little more zing to my tea.
Relieves: Sick body aches, insomnia
Positives: Tasted great in my tea and helped me get some rest since I had a cold.
Negatives: It’s a little hard to get the honey out of the plastic sticks if you’re using it to infuse something else – but the sticks are fun if you’re just taking the honey straight.
Other notes: I’ve heard these are great in peanut butter and honey sandwiches, although I haven’t tried that yet. I seem to need a stronger dose on edibles – probably because I’m on the heavy side. I think 8.5 mg would be fine for most folks starting off.
