Strain: Golden Goat (Hybrid cross of Hawaiian, Romulan and Island Sweet Skunk) (Sold at Canna-Daddy’s in Portland, Oregon)
Grower: Green Cross Specialties (Oregon)
Onset time: About four minutes
Fade: About an hour
Strength: Medium
Tingling (where did you feel it): Nothing very pronounced – a little warmth in the upper back and forehead.
Control: Good. Euphoric but no head fuzz.
Emotions: Energetic, happy, creative
Paranoia: No
Energy level: Good. Great one for house cleaning or other projects.
Smell: Skunk, pine, maybe a hint of berry
Relieves: Lethargy, bad mood
Positives: Good positive energy. Clear headed euphoria with a sativa-like feel.
Negatives: Made me feel a bit too warm. Smoke a little harsh.
Other notes: Buds a little leafy, but it’s not a bad trim. Someone on Leafly.com said this strain smells like “sweet cat piss” – not sure I’d go that far but it’s certainly not the best smelling weed I’ve encountered. Skunk and pine is an odd scent mix. I’d put this one right up there with Jack Herer as a house cleaning strain. Goes well with upbeat music. Could be a good clubbing strain – social function is decent. Also not bad for thinking/meditating on things.
