Lemon Ginger Legal soda from Mirth Provisions
Reviewer: Sue Vorenberg
Strain: Lemon Ginger Legal soda (Feels like an indica body heavy high)
Grower: Mirth Provisions (Longview, WA)
Onset time: About an hour and 15 minutes (fairly typical for an edible – took one dose, which is half a bottle, 10 mg THC)
Fade: About five and a half hours – or about four from when it really kicked in.
Tingling (where did you feel it): Nose, shoulders, forehead, tops of feet.
Control (can you maintain focus, etc): Starts off easy with decent concentration but builds to be very sleepy.
Emotions: Calm, relaxed
Energy level: Low, peaceful, sleepy
Taste: Strong ginger smell. Lovely ginger and lemon flavor – very crisp with no weed taste at all.
Positives: Good mental and physical relaxation. Probably a good one to take an hour or two before bed. It knocked me out!
Negatives: Slow onset, as is the case with most edibles. Eyes are a bit dry.
Other notes: Includes a small plastic measuring cup, which is likely due to I502 packaging requirements in Washington. Nice evening chill out product. I think I’d try one of Mirth’s other sodas for socializing or going out (it’s nice to have some sort of liquid beer replacement since I quit drinking a few years back). The Lemon Ginger made me really sleepy. Ended up taking a 3-hour nap, which is very unusual because I have long-standing insomnia issues. After the fade I took the second dose and went back to bed!
